FOUNDER BIOGRAPHY

I came on earth on the 15th of September of the year of the Lord 1978, and encountered the Lord Jesus on the 17th Day of April of the year. Receiving the call of salvation has been and remains the best experience I have ever had in my life, following a rather challenging childhood and youth.

Originally from Rwanda, I was born and grew up in Bujumbura, Burundi, where my family had established in the early 1960s. My mum, Bukuba Christiane, died when I was just 9 and I greatly missed her. At 22, my father also died. At this point in time, uncertainty was starting to take over on me.

“When the outlook is bleak, try the up look” says the adage ! In my uncertainties, I heard a voice calling and that voice was full of love and fondness. I responded, opened my heart and Jesus entered into my life. And the first miracle he did in my life was to restore my lost hope. He surrounded me with people who cared for me, and he put a smile back on my lips.

God has anointed me to serve him in the Ministry of Intercession. I feel most accomplished when I spend sufficient time in the presence of God, praying for my family, the grace of salvation for people who live in darkness and the edification of the body of Christ.

I am an Accountant by profession, with over 15 years of work experience. As regards the family, I am married to Eugene Rutabagaya since March 2007. God has blessed us with four wonderful children (Samuella : 14 ; Davinah : 11 ; Dave : 7 ; and Noah : 2).
